Private Lunch For August Berg @ Origin Grill, Shangri-La Hotel

Taking a break from our regular weddings, we worked on an exciting private event for a Danish watch brand, August Berg! 

August Berg takes pride in their Danish design that embraces the Scandinavian design core - clean lines and minimalism while still providing artistry and allure. Using this theory as our cue, we got to designing our floral palette.

For the event’s floral colours, we opted for a softer combination of powder blue, green and brown. These colours hold understated, quiet motifs and embody the principles of Danish design. 

Our floral arrangements blended seamlessly with the provided wood details at Shangri-La Hotel’s Origin Grill. 

Because of the natural concept, we highlighted foliage like Monsterra leaves, ferns and eucalyptus. 

At the feature wall, we matched powder blue hydrangeas with the darkened wood exterior and stack of vintage luggage. 

The floral table centerpieces were designed with textural flowers like eryngium and scabiosa pods to create texture and appeal. 

The centerpieces were kept below eye level so that guests could continue their conversations over the dining table with ease.

Drawing inspiration from woodland designs, we included forest elements like wooden candle holders and moss as part of the tablescape.

Hydrangeas were also featured in the centerpieces to bring a pop of colour amidst the earthy tones. 

With minimalism, there is always a perfect amount of everything. We are glad to have been able to fulfill August Berg’s aesthetic with fresh blooms!
