Frequently Asked Questions

1. What if I haven't decided on my wedding flowers?

Don't worry about that yet! You just need to let us know the slightest inkling of what you like or are drawn to. We will craft them accordingly to the overall design!

2. Do I reeeeally need a wedding florist and stylist?

Personalized and quality wedding florals is an important investment. They completely change the atmosphere of your wedding and will forever live in the photos you cherish. With our experience and expertise, we treat your wedding like our own, professionally. Sure, you can have your Mum or bridesmaids make your flowers for you - but more often than not, they don't know what's the best way to get certain things done, what more in the short time frame on the actual day. Wouldn't you want people important to you to enjoy your big day rather than having them run around with panic attacks? If flowers and decor is an area that is also important to you, don't skimp! You'll thank us later.

3. How far in advance should I book BFOR for my wedding or event?

We suggest booking us 6-12 months in advance, especially if your wedding falls in the peak season (usually the last quarter of the year) and slots get filled up fast. We only take in limited number of weddings per weekend so that each couple gets our undivided attention, and we accept bookings on a first come first serve basis. So it's best that you book us early!

4. What is the commitment to book your services?

We require a 50% deposit payment to confirm your booking. The balance payment will only be due 2 weeks before your wedding date. Deposits are non-refundable as we only take in limited number of weddings per weekend to give our couples our undivided attention, hence will turn away potential couples once the date has been booked.

5. Do you have a minimum spend?

Yes, we have a minimum spend of $3000 as we customize to every wedding, which also means having to fulfil wholesale quantities/amount of flowers and customized procured items from our suppliers. As we believe in personalized services, it also means that we don't mass accept bookings that'll overwhelm us and in turn affects our standards of service and production.

6. Do you have standard packages?

No. We strongly believe that each wedding is unique to each couple and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to weddings. We design with YOU in mind hence we do not have standard designs to choose from either. However, you can look at our past works or our Instagram to see more of our style and capabilities.

7. How does your pricing work?

Pricing varies on the complexity of design. Let us know which areas you wish to have decorated (eg. Solemnization Floral Arch, Stage Backdrop, Registration Table decor etc) and we'd be able to give you an estimate quote. Each wedding is customized to fit your style, needs and aesthetics, and we are committed to working with you to create the perfect wedding that is a reflection of you and your love.

8. How do I go about booking BFOR?

Go to our quote form and fill up the details. It's necessary for us to know details like venue and date to be able to advise our availability. After that, we will send you an email with our standard rate card. We can then schedule a non-obligatory consultation call. After the consultation, we will prepare a quotation for you to consider. If you like what you see, we will send you an invoice and contract for your 50% deposit payment to confirm your booking and we will block out the date just for you!

9. What if I change my mind?

Don't worry! We are prepared for that! That is why 3 months before the wedding, we will chat again to see what changes there are, or none at all. We will then craft a visual proposal so you can know what to expect on the actual day. At this time, it's still possible to make changes like colors, fonts etc. The cost will only change if the scope of work (eg. bigger stage, more flowers on the arch etc) changes from the initial consultation. But we will always let you know if there's a price change. Otherwise, we will try as much as possible to keep within the initial contract sum.

10. I love peonies! And orchids! And all those beautiful seasonal flowers! Can I have them in my wedding?

We design every wedding base on a color-first approach. We believe that the colors make or break the aesthetics of your wedding. If you have certain flower types that are meaningful to you, let us know! If it is in season and in theme, we will definitely procure for you! However, as flowers are a work of Mother Nature, we cannot promise floral availability. We do however, promise that we will do everything in our power to procure them, or substitute them accordingly to the seasonal available flowers. We only work with the best materials of that season!

11. Do you do only fresh flowers? Can we mix with fake flowers?

We only work with fresh flowers because nothing beats the appearance and scent of fresh flowers. There are also way more options, colors and varieties of fresh flowers than artificial ones. We hate to say it, but artificial flowers can spoil the overall look of the wedding.

12. What should I prepare during our initial consultation?

Pinterest board, color swatches, photos that inspire you, your dress, bridal party dresses and any other little information can definitely help us get to know the kind of wedding you want!

13. Why are wedding flowers so expensive? T.T

As you know, almost all of our flowers are imported. But! Your investment is more than just the cost of flowers. It involves the time it takes us to plan and design your wedding, order the right flowers (which took us years of experience to hone our flower knowledge), process them days before so that we condition them to bloom their best on your big day, skills and techniques that we are always upgrading, actual day setup (which are usually the most stressful because we only have a short time frame) and then tearing them down in the wee hours of the night after you guys head back to the suite to retire. Most of all, you hire us because you value our skills and expertise in this field. Floristry isn't just about looking pretty. There are actually a lot of hard and laborious work involved that break our backs. We only do it because we really love the sense of fulfilment we get when we see the happy faces of our couples.
