Cozy HDB Home Solemnization

Since the past couple of years, we are no longer strangers to change because of COVID-19. We have since seen more scaled-down spaces for celebrations of love. Instead of large hotel ballrooms, we are seeing more home-based ceremonies which make for beautiful, private ceremonies! 

Our couple worked with the safe distancing restrictions to hold a safe and intimate solemnization ceremony in the comfort of their own HDB home. 

The most interesting aspect of the project was working within the space constraint. While some people may believe that florals will only look dazzling in large ballroom spaces, our wall installation was compact yet still impactful! 

Our bride’s favourite was blush pink. We used this as our shade motif when creating a unique curved garland. The blooms framed the couple’s names made from custom acrylic exquisitely. 

To create lushness in the couple’s living room, we connected the garland of blush roses and lisianthus onto a dynamic solemnization table installation of spray roses and carnations. We included lots of delightful greenery that complemented the white and blush colours. The flow of florals was just exquisite! 

We are glad that, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we still find ways to celebrate love in pockets of bliss. As the measures gradually ease up, we are sure to still see more modest ceremonies like these popping up!
